This policy explains what personal information Advert Sense handles and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Advert Sense is run by AI&I Innovations, a South African business. Contact details are on the contact page.

What this website collects

Reading this website needs no account and sets no advertising cookies. It does not run analytics or tracking scripts. Cloudflare, which serves the site, processes standard technical data when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type and the page visited, in order to deliver the site and defend it against abuse.

The request form

The form on the request page does not send your details to our servers. It builds a message inside your browser, and you choose whether to send it to us by email or WhatsApp. Nothing you type is saved by this website.

Messages and materials you send us

When you send a request we receive what you include, such as your business name, contact details, advert wording and any logo or image you attach. We use it to review your advert, prepare a written quote and run the advert you have booked. Email passes through Gmail and WhatsApp is operated by Meta, so their policies also apply to those messages. We keep your materials while your advert runs and afterwards only as long as our records reasonably require, then delete them.

Advertising on our sites

Adverts on our sites are placed directly by us. We do not use third-party advertising networks, and the adverts do not follow visitors around the web. Clicking an advert takes a visitor to the advertiser's own page, and we do not pass visitor information to the advertiser.

Your rights under POPIA

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how it is used. Send any request through the contact page. If you believe your information has been handled unlawfully, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).

Changes

If we ever add analytics, cookies or third-party advertising, we will update this policy before the change goes live. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
